GOOD HABITS TO LIVE LONG

A person’s age cannot be predicted by humans. Young people do not necessarily live long, and parents do not necessarily die quickly.

Long life, health, and a happy life are things that everyone wants. Of course, we must be grateful and lie our lives to the fullest.

Although we can’t predict a person’s age, several things can be done to keep our bodies healthy and live a long life.

Some habits or lifestyles can affect a person’s health and longevity. Living a good lifestyle will certainly make the body healthy, and the possibility of living longer can be obtained compared to people who live an unhealthy lifestyle.

There are some simple steps that you can take every day to have a chance to have a long life.

A Healthy Diet. 

Many studies say that food can be a factor in healthy life and longevity, By consuming a balanced, healthy, nutritious diet, your quality of life will increase.

Try to start consuming foods such as vegetables and fruits, a variety of plant products, nuts, milk, and protein foods.

Foods that contain nutrients and antioxidant compounds in them, including carotenoids, polyphenols, folate, and vitamin C, can protect the body from various deadly diseases such as cancer, heart disease, hypertension, and stroke.

You should also avoid foods that are high in preservatives, saturated fat, color, and salt.

Quality Enough Sleep. 

Begin to sleep with a regular pattern of sleeping for 6-8 hours a day and waking up at the same time in the morning. This can prolong life and also help avoid depression, stress, and heart disease.

Active Move

Regular exercise can reduce the risk of various diseases, such as strokes, heart disease, diabetes, depression, and cancer. People who exercise regularly, especially in the morning, will be more likely to live a long life because they have a healthy and fit body.

You can try exercising for 30 minutes a day, but you may first consult a doctor to find out what types of exercise are suitable for your current body condition. 

Avoid excessive stress. 

Prolonged and uncontrolled stress can increase the risk of various diseases that affect the body, such as depression, stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Therefore, you must be able to control stress so that it does not drag on. Divert your mind to fun things that you enjoy. That way, your stress level can be reduced.

You can take the time to do fun things with your partner, family, or friends so that your brain and mind can be rested for a while from things that cause stress.

Don’t smoke and drink alcohol. 

Consuming cigarettes and alcohol is an unhealthy habit and can cause serious health problems if consumed continuously for a long time.

Various studies have shown that these two factors can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, pancreatic damage, and liver disorders.

In addition to harming yourself, smoking can also harm others. Therefore, stop and avoid smoking and drinking alcohol starting now.
